Vincent Chan is a sole proprietor who runs AlphaDesk, a private, self-hosted investment research and portfolio monitoring system used only by its owner. It is not offered to the public and has no customers.
AlphaDesk Alerts are automated text messages from AlphaDesk's own servers to the owner's own mobile phone: system and data-pipeline status, market-data outages, and portfolio risk reviews. There is exactly one recipient, the account owner. No marketing messages are sent, and no one else can sign up.
The owner opts in by texting START to the AlphaDesk Alerts toll-free number from his own phone. The confirmation reply reads:
